40% of produce in the Philippines is wasted due to improper temperature controlled storage. Ample Power was tasked with creating an independent, off-grid, refrigerated container for the Philippines Department of Agriculture. Taking into consideration the heavy rain season and typhoons, we deployed a low profile solar panels paired with our 3kw Hydrogen Generator. Results: Low profile solar panels - not affected by high winds or typhoon weather. Hydrogen Generator - provides backup power during rain spells until solar is able to generate electricity again. We have currently proven in the ideal case scenario, our system can stay independently powered without Solar input for 48 hours.
